Ariel Sexton |
Born in Vancouver Canada, Ariel Sexton has always been a student of martial arts but it wasn’t until 2003 while living in Costa Rica that he discovered jiu jitsu. Since then Ariel has become a top jiu jitsu student learning Ryan Gracie jiu jitsu under Mauro Sergio and capturing the jiu jitsu championship of Costa Rica. In 2006 Ariel made his mma debut winning by submission in the first
round. Since then Ariel has become a sensation in Costa Rica, winning an eight man tournament and capturing the welterweight championship. Ariel is currently signed to a multi fight contract with Hardcore Championship Fighting. |

Juan Barrantes |
Born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica, Juan Barrantes is a high ranking Ryan Gracie jiu jitsu student under Mauro Sergio. Since making his mma debut in 2006 Juan has become a fan favourite with his never say die attitude. After winning several fights, Juan recently fought for the RFC lightweight title, losing a close five round decision to highly regarded Edson Berto. |

Mauro Sergio |
Born in Brazil and trained by the late Ryan Gracie, Mauro Sergio is jiu jitsu black belt. With many international accolades in the sport of jiu jitsu, he has turned his attention to mixed martial arts with much success. Mauros's four wins came all in the same night when he entered an open weight tournament in Panama which he won despite facing heavyweight competition. Mauro is known for his fearless approach to fighting and his relentless ground game. |

Russel Yip |
Canadian Russel Yip has trained to be a fighter his whole life. Russell is a fourth degree black belt in Kanzen Kenpo. While his striking abilities cannot be questioned, his ground fighting is also at a high level. Russell has recently moved to Japan to work on his mma career where he trains full time with the likes of Yuki Kondo and other top level Japanese fighters. We look forward to Russell making his professional mma debut in 2008. |
