Born in Vancouver Canada, Ariel Sexton has always been a student of martial arts but it wasn’t  until 2003 while living in Costa Rica that he discovered jiu jitsu. Since then Ariel has become a top jiu jitsu student learning Ryan Gracie jiu jitsu under Mauro Sergio and capturing the jiu jitsu championship of Costa Rica. In 2006 Ariel made his mma debut winning by submission in the first
round. Since then Ariel has become a sensation in Costa Rica, winning an eight man tournament and capturing the welterweight championship. Ariel is currently signed to a multi fight contract with Hardcore Championship Fighting.
